Data scientist and PhD researcher, based in Wrocław.

I'm Tatenda Mawango, a data scientist. In October 2026 I started a PhD in machine learning at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Before that I spent five years at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), first on a bachelor's in informatics and then an MSc in data science and artificial intelligence, which ended with a thesis on how far you can trust a forecast's uncertainty. Along the way I built Android apps, worked in IT support and set up AI automation workflows, so I care about the software around a model as much as the model itself. Outside work I'm usually at the gym, and I have a habit of automating small tasks that probably don't need it.
